Is Waymap a safety device?

No.  Waymap is a navigation tool, not a safety device.  It helps guide you along accessible and wheelchair accessible routes, but it does not detect real-time obstacles like construction, crowds, or hazards.

If you’re visually impaired or have a disability, we strongly recommend travel training or Orientation and Mobility (O&M) skills.  Waymap supports your journey, but your awareness and judgment keep you safe.
